want to get inspired? plan to come to our annual student showcase, the Rio Show on sunday, june 14.
we are SO thrilled to be producing our second annual student showcase, the Rio Show. in 2025 we had over 70 dancers perform in front of a sold out audience at the Performing Arts Center in Whitefish - for most of our dancers, it was their first time performing, ever! we were brave, we left it all on the stage, and we had the time of our lives.
reminder: participation in the Rio Show is completely optional, no matter which semester you enroll in.
IMPORTANT DATES:
dress rehearsal: evening of mon, june 8*
dress rehearsal: evening of tues, june 9*

WINTER SEMESTER:

Q: where can I find specifics about each offering?
scroll to the bookable schedule below! select the semester you are interested in and it will take you to the booking page - here you will fine everything you need to know about each semester offering!
Q: do i need a partner for social dancing?
no! we will be rotating partners throughout each class.
if you would prefer not to rotate partners, we are happy to accommodate. please communicate this directly with your teacher.
we know life happens! especially over a 6- or 10-week period. though we do not offer individual make-up classes, your teachers will not let you fall behind.
additionally, each semester will have a designated google drive folder where updates, videos, and more can all be found. if you need to miss a week of class - this where you can catch up!
Q: what if i need to miss a class?
classes with specific levels are included in the name of the class, like “beginner” or “intermediate”. that being said - we know levels are pretty subjective so the description of the class will further clarify where you fit.
classes without a level designation in the title are ‘open level’ - meaning the class is welcoming to ALL levels and will be taught inclusively to a wide range of skills. some dancers will have more experience than you, others will have less - we all get to dance together. :)
Q: what level are these classes?
Q: what if one of my semester classes is cancelled?
if class is cancelled by the studio [due to weather or teacher absense] we will use the make-up date indicated in the description of each semester. please plan to be available this week so that you don’t miss any rescheduled instruction.
specifics of what to wear are included in the description of each semester - that being said, WEAR WHAT YOU WANT. this is one of the fun parts about adult spaces, you can wear whatever the heck you want. our suggestions are based on our experience for comfort and success but you are also free to express yourself.
for tap specifically, we have most tap shoe sizes at the studio for you to borrow while you shop for your own pair.
Q: what should i wear to my class?
Q: what if the level / style is not what i expected?
we will work with you personally to find a style / level that better suits your dance dreams! though semesters are not refundable, we do want you to be in a class that feels inspiring and safe for you.
sometimes it’s a matter of being brave and sticking with something that feels new and uncomfortable, and sometimes a style or level switch will very easily do the trick! <3
