i have learned SO much in this last year - noticing and adjusting how to make Rio and our classes make the most sense for our community. i know it has been a lot of shifting, you have all asked great questions and been patient with my explanations; thank you for graciously being along for the ride.
how powerful it is to learn from each of you and be stronger together!
that being said - as we come to a year (!!) we are making some further shifts that will *hopefully* continue to make our offerings more intuitive and accessible for all of our diverse dancers.
when we opened our doors the pricing model had semesters as the most expensive offering, with drop-ins and class packs providing price breaks depending on your investment. since then we have learned that our dancers LOVE semesters and we want our pricing to reflect this.
we want to honor your commitment to 10-weeks together and also continue to incentivize other new dancers to do the same. semesters are now the most cost-effective way to take class at Rio.
SEMESTERS, $180 for 10 weeks* [$18 / class]
for dancers that cannot commit to a whole semester, but who want to join semester classes OR attend drop-in classes, our class pack options will now apply to ALL class offerings. no more confusing rates for different classes! hooray!
10-CLASS PACK, $19 / class [$190]
5-CLASS PACK, $20 / class [$100]
DROP-IN, $22 / class
note: any existing packs and class credits on your account will continue be honored!
dancers that want to attend drop-in classes or visit select semesters after enrollment has closed can purchase any of our class packs and they will apply to all of our offerings, across the board.
my hope is these changes can achieve the following:
simplify attending classes [semester, drop-in, or events]
honor the commitment and investment of semester dancers
open select semesters to dancers who cannot commit and would otherwise miss out!
allow Rio to continue to keep its doors open and pay our teachers wages that honor their expertise [blog about value here]
i am so excited to see what the next year holds.
